It may be best to buy a hair piece that can be clipped into the hair just make sure that the hair matches in color.
If the fake hair extension is lighter than your hair it can still look natural.
This is possible if you pick natural human hair so you can style the ends with foam curlers or rollers.
This style I created with alot of back-combing as I have no padded hair piece to apply with the bun and then I added one hair extension peice and created curls as well as giving a puff as the front of the hair created by using heated rollers and back brushing for volume, then just having a side fringe to finish it off.
